Can I change my Althea email address?

Yes — you can change your Althea email yourself, without needing to involve our support team. The steps are slightly different depending on whether you are on app.withalthea.com or be.withalthea.com. Both flows are quick and confirm the change with a one-time code sent to your new address.


If you are on app.withalthea.com

  1. Open My Settings → Profile.

  2. In the Profile card, click the ⋮ (more) menu in the top-right corner and choose Change email.


If you are on be.withalthea.com

  1. Open your Account page from the user menu.

  2. In the Profile section, click the ⋮ (more) menu and choose Change email.


What happens next

From here the flow is the same on both apps.

  1. Enter the new email address you'd like to use and submit.

  1. We send a 6-digit verification code to the new address. The email is from [email protected] — check your spam folder if you don't see it.

  2. Enter the code in the modal to confirm the change.

Once the code is accepted:

  • Your login email is updated immediately — sign in with the new address from now on.

  • You're signed out of other browsers and devices, so you'll need to sign in again on those.

  • We send a confirmation to your previous address, so you (or whoever has access to it) can see the change happened.


Troubleshooting

I didn't get the code. Wait 30–60 seconds, then check your spam / promotions folders. Click Resend code if needed (there's a short cooldown between resends). Double-check that the new email address has no typos.

The code says "Could not verify code." Codes expire after a short window, and only the most recent code is valid. Click Resend code for a fresh one and use that — copy-pasting from the email helps avoid mistypes.
