When would I need this?
When another facilitator creates a session and adds you as a co-facilitator, you'll be able to see the session participants -- but those participants aren't automatically added to your own client list. If you want to keep your own private record of a participant you worked with, you can create a client record directly from the session.
This is useful when:
Another facilitator created a session for their client and invited you to co-facilitate
You want to keep your own private notes or documents about the participant
You want a record of having worked with this person so you can find them or follow up later
How to create a client record from a session participant
Open the session and navigate to the participant you'd like to create a client record for.
Click the three-dot menu in the upper right corner of the participant view (lower half section of the page).
Select Create Client.
A confirmation dialog will appear showing the participant's name and email, which will be used to pre-populate the new client record.
Click Create Client to confirm.
You'll be taken to the new client's profile page, where you can begin adding your own notes, documents, and other information.
What happens when I create a client record?
A new client record is created in your private client list, linked to the same participant. The participant's name and email are copied over automatically. This record is yours alone -- other facilitators won't see your private notes or documents on it.
Will this affect the other facilitator's client record?
No. Each facilitator maintains their own separate client record. Creating your own record does not modify or affect anyone else's data.
I don't see the "Create Client" option
The option only appears if you don't already have a client record for that participant. If you've already created one, the option won't be shown. Check your client list to see if a record already exists.
