Where to find your payment methods
Head to Settings > Billing to view and manage your saved payment methods. You'll see two payment methods — one for your bank account and one for your credit card.
Adding a bank account
If you haven't linked a bank account yet, click Add Bank Account. You'll be guided through a short setup:
Create your payment profile (first time only) — We'll confirm your name and email, and ask for your phone number. This one-time step verifies your identity and protects against fraud.
Connect your bank — Click Connect Bank Account to open a secure banking portal. Log in to your bank and authorize the connection. Your banking credentials are never stored or shared with us — the connection is fully encrypted and managed by our secure payment processor.
Once connected, you'll see a confirmation message and your bank account will appear on the Billing page.
Adding a credit card
If you haven't linked a credit card yet, click Add Credit Card. You'll be asked to enter:
Your card details are encrypted and securely processed — we never see or store your full card number. Once saved, your card will appear on the Billing page.
Changing a payment method
To swap out a bank account or credit card that's already on file, click the Change button on the corresponding card. You'll see a note confirming that your current method will be replaced, then you can link a new one following the same steps as above. Your old method is automatically removed once the new one is connected.
Removing a payment method
To remove a saved payment method without replacing it, click Remove. You'll be asked to confirm — once removed, you can always add a new payment method at any time.
Bank account vs. credit card
When paying an invoice, you may have the option to choose between your bank account and credit card. What options are available to you depends on what options the invoice creator can accept. Here's the key difference:
Bank transfer (ACH) — No processing fee
Credit card — A 2.5% processing fee is added to the invoice amount
The total amount including any fees is always shown before you authorize a payment.
