What is an Experience, and how do I submit one?

A quick guide to listing a bookable offering on the Althea marketplace

Written by Andrew Conley

What is an Experience?

An Experience is a bookable offering on the Althea marketplace. It's the full package a client can buy: the session format, what to expect before and after, pricing, availability and photos.

Your facilitator or center profile shows clients who you are. An Experience shows them exactly what they're booking. Clients see Experiences first when they land on the marketplace, and a good one lets someone read the page and book without needing a call first.

Some examples:

  • A 1:1 guided session

  • A weekend retreat

  • A small-group or couples format

You can have several Experiences live at once, all linked to the same profile. Your reviews stay on your profile, so they build up no matter how your Experiences change. We pull in the combined reviews of the facilitator and center for an experience.

Before you submit

  • You need to be approved for payments. Listings on the marketplace have to be set up to take payments through Althea.

  • You need a published facilitator or center profile. Every Experience has to be tied to at least one licensed facilitator or center. It's a compliance requirement.

  • It's free to list! We'll be working on getting eyeballs on these Experiences.

How to submit an Experience

  1. Our team reviews it and builds your Experience page.

  2. We'll let you know when it's live.
